every few weeks, or daily even, if i happen to walk by something that catches my eye, i rearrange all the vignettes in my house.  i like changing things around.  i get bored of looking at the same thing in the same place all the time.  maybe it's from growing up in a living room you couldn't use.  "it's for company..." everything stayed exactly the same way for years- each vase, book, photo, etc. had it's place and didn't move.  ironically we didn't even have "company" that often... because that would mean people would have to traipse through the house with their shoes on and possibly move something or god forbid... spill their drink... yes, insanely neurotic, yet, very entertaining to watch my parents try to be social and nonchalant at the same time, yet all the while having mini heart attacks between cocktails worrying over someone knocking something over or moving a coaster.  but i digress... i am the opposite of that... as are my brother and sister...i enjoy moving things about, stacking books here and there, collecting and compiling...actually living in my house.
